Sidney Bourke (trading as Sidney Bourke Tiles Ltd) are a family business based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Specialising in the supply of bathrooms, wet rooms, showers, fitted kitchens, and bedrooms, they’re now into their third decade of success.
They stock a large selection of the very best of Spanish and Italian Tiles, Marble & Stone for domestic and commercial uses.
Sydney Bourke have showrooms in multiple locations where they have a large selection of tiles in stock and various collections of the latest and stylish kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom furniture.
They supply Ardex, BAL & Dunlop Tiles adhesive, grouts, levelling compounds, and waterproof tanking systems for domestic and trade purposes.
The Task
Sidney Bourke is a retailer and installer of kitchen and bathroom products, established over 28 years ago in Tipperary. They wanted a new eCommerce website to promote themselves as the premium supplier for kitchens and bathrooms in the South Tipperary area.
Their old website didn’t result in many enquiries, and it didn’t have any eCommerce functionality. They needed our help to curate a brand new visual identity, increase in-store and online sales, and achieve more visibility on the search engines with SEO optimisation.

Though Sidney Bourke had been around for 28 years, their website didn’t reflect how they’d evolved over time. They had dabbled in boosting some posts on FB, but didn’t have any Google Analytics installed or SEO work completed to increase customer’s awareness of their brand.
So we began by uncovering what made them special, how their target customers behaved, and what they wanted their new website and online marketing to achieve. Using this information, we developed an unforgettable online shopping experience for their customers.
Their website shows off their impressive installation services, kitchen and bathroom designs, along with giving users an opportunity to buy small fixtures like taps or shower heads directly from their online store.
We gave them a brand new visual identity through our graphics and design work, worked on their brand messaging and website content, and implemented tracking to measure and improve our ad campaigns. We installed abandoned cart emails to nudge users back to the site, and provided virtual training workshops to show the team how to make minor changes to their new website.
