Redlane offers a quirky of both boutique & high-street brands of women’s clothes to the South East of Ireland.
Established in 2005, Redlane is a boutique women’s fashion store in Tramore, Co. Waterford.
The owner, Catherine Keighery, worked closely with the Ireland Website Design Team to completely redesign the look, feel and functionality of redlane.ie
The Task
Redlane is a boutique fashion store in Waterford offering a quirky mix of both boutique & high-street women’s clothing. They wanted our team to completely redesign the look, feel and functionality of their website.
Redlane approached us when they saw that their competitors were making more traction online. They wanted to improve their online presence to increase sales and compete in a busy market. They were looking for a quality website that they knew would help reach a wider audience while maintaining their strong SEO rankings.

Our Solution For Redlane
Before we started designing the new look for Redlane’s website, we audited their old website to see what was working – and what wasn’t.
After figuring out what their visitors were looking for, we created a sleek, inviting website, making use of plenty of white space to showcase the beautiful clothes and accessories they sell. We also made the back-end of the website user-friendly and offered training to the team, so they’d be empowered to make future changes as needed.
We automated abandoned cart emails, push notifications, and personalised recommended products to encourage customers to buy more – leading to higher conversion rates. We also added a real-time Instagram feed under the main banner, which allowed customers to add products from the feed directly into their cart: A feature which has dramatically increased Redlane’s sales.
For this project, our team focused on conversion optimisation and after the 1st month of the new website being up we could already see serious improvements. There was a 40.5% increase in website traffic and a 10% increase in the amount of time people spend on the website. The conversion rates increased from 0.81% to 1.22% overall – a huge improvement.
